Our first Valentine's Day is over; I was so moved by the amount of love being shown to people and the support that we received. It was certainly a busy day with deliveries starting at 8.30am on the Sunday! Orders were being received from Australia and all around the globe for some of our lovely residents. The team had a long weekend and we finally closed up at 3pm for a well earned rest.
Sadly, Valentine's Day also saw us go back in to lockdown once again. For us here in Rotorua, it wasn't too bad for us being at level 2, we could still operate as normal. It is also at times like these that its good to remember that some people will be under great financial or emotional strain, some will feel lonely and other people extremely nervous. If we all talk to people we care about, we can let them know that they are not alone and we will get through this together. If you know people that don't have anyone, then take that extra effort to let them know that you are there.
