As I sit here on Christmas morning with my cup of tea, relaxing to the sound of the birds and cicadas and enjoying the beautiful weather; I get to reflect on how amazing the last few weeks have been. One of the best parts of what I do, is the ability to read all the lovely messages between people; it is just so moving.
Christmas Eve didn't go quite to plan.....the plan was to open around 8am and close at 2pm. What actually occurred was open about 7.45am and close after 5pm! It was amazing to see soooo many happy people in town after what we can all accept has been a difficult year (again!). The shop is now closed now until 11th Jan (except for the one order that somehow sneaked in via the website in the early hours of Christmas morning...…I gave Tim a bit of a glare as it was his job to close the website for sales, but we will sort it!), we are all taking much deserved time out with our whānau and can't wait to see everyone in the new year.
